SPC to Conduct ‘SPC Happy Share Campaign’ to provide free family travel for Vulnerable Families

 


SPC (CEO Hur Young-in) announced on May 8 that it will run the ‘SPC Happy Share Campaign’ to support free family trips for vulnerable families to mark the Family Month, in partnership with the Korean Red Cross (President Shin Hee-young).

 

The ‘SPC Happy Share Campaign’ is to discover and support underprivileged neighbors in the welfare blind spot. It is an online social contribution activity in which customers comment on the story posted on the Happy Point application (Happy App), click ‘Like’ or share it, and SPC accumulates and donates a certain amount of funds on behalf of those participants.

 

This campaign will run until June 30, 2023, with the goal of gathering 10,000 supporters. If this goal is achieved, SPC will donate the Korean Red Cross KRW 20 million, which will be used for family trips of vulnerable families. Customers can participate in the campaign through the Happy App banner or the Happy Story ‘Sweet Companion’ tab, and an event will be held to present Happy Con (Happy Point Mobile Coupon) by drawing 200 participants.

 

An official from the SPC Happy Foundation said, “This campaign came from our sympathy for the purpose of the Korean Red Cross that family travel can be conducive to children’s psychological and emotional stability. SPC will continue to discover and lend full support to those in need and seek to spread a culture of sharing through collaboration with customers.”

 

Shin Hee-young, President of the Korean Red Cross, said, “The campaign will be a great help for children suffering from emotional frustrations. We hope that many people will join the ‘SPC Happy Share Campaign’ to ensure that children from vulnerable families can relieve their psychological frustration and grow healthier through family travel.”

 

Meanwhile, ‘Secta9ine’, an IT service and marketing affiliate of SPC, for the first time, introduced a Happy Point donation system that allows consumers to make direct donations to the campaign in this ‘SPC Happy Share Campaign’ to foster an online donation culture. Participants can donate between 100 and 2,000 points per campaign, and the donated Happy Points will be converted into cash and delivered to the Korean Red Cross.
