SPC Held Commemorative Event for Persons of National Merit in the Month of Remembrance of Patriots and Veterans

To celebrate the month of patriots and veterans, SPC (Chairman: Hur Young-in) announced on the 5th that it will hold the “Remember Together” campaign, an event dedicated to honoring persons of national merits, at all stores of the subsidiaries in June.

All 6,600 SPC-operated stores nationwide, such as Paris Baguette, Baskin Robbins, Dunkin, Pascucci, and Shake Shack, and Lagrillia, are participating in the event, offering customers who present their national merit ID from June 6 through the end of the month up to 20 percent off their purchase, including 15 percent off and 5 percent in Happy Points rewards (18% discount and 2% Happy Point rewards for food service brands). The benefits apply regardless of the number of purchases and amounts during the event period.

A part of the profits from the event will be donated to support persons of national merit.

“We organized this event to honor and thank noble spirits of our heroes who had sacrificed themselves for the country,” said an SPC official. “We will continue performing activities to spread the good influence across the society.”

In 2019, SPC held a number of events to mark the March 1 Independence Movement Day and the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Provisional Government, and made donations to the Association of the Bereaved Families of the Persons of Distinguished Service to Independence. In 2013, it also donated SPC Samlip Cream Bread to mine workers and nurses working in Germany, giving them the taste and memories of their homeland in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the dispatch.
