Paris Baguette, the bakery brand of SPC Group, announced on November 23, 2021 that it held a ‘ceremony of making the No.1 donation to the Salvation Army’. Since 2006, Paris Baguette has been fulfilling philanthropic culture for neighbors by making the No.1 donation to the Salvation Army for 16 straight years.

The donation ceremony held at Myeong-dong Store of Paris Baguette in Jung-gu, Seoul was attended by Lee Myeong-uk, President of Paris Croissant, and Choi Cheol-ho, Director for Communications, Salvation Army Korea Territory.

Paris Baguette installed mini-charity pots at over 3,400 stores across the country to raise funds by the end of the year. Same as last year, it will encourage MZ generations to take part in a fund-raising campaign by adopting a digital donation scheme using mini-charity pots integrated with a ‘QR code (Zeropay)’. The donated fund will be used for improving the welfare of regional communities through programs being operated by the Salvation Army.

During the ceremony of the day, Paris Baguette unveiled more than 40 different Christmas season products under the theme of ‘A Big Twist in Atmosphere’, including a double-layer cake that boldly adopted red color, fancy 3D cake and cakes that used such objects as Santa Claus, Rudolph and Christmas tree.

“Paris Baguette has steadily been conducting fund-raising activities for the Salvation Army for 16 years to share warm love with needy regional communities and neighbors,” said a manager at Paris Baguette. “We will continue to implement diverse social contribution activities as part of our environmental, social and governance (ESG)-focused management policy.”
